Desiree Blaine

In May 2020, Desiree Blaine attended a homebuyer education class at United Housing and soon after were approved for our Cherry Mortgage loan. “There were a lot of things that I thought I knew, but Mrs. Reed taught us things that I never would have thought about!” she says. “I found the perfect home for my husband and I”, she says.  

Desiree is thrilled that now she’s paying half the cost of rent while obtaining a piece of something that belongs to her family. “It’s such a wonderful feeling to have something that I know is mine! I’m even more thankful for United Housing for paving the way for so many to have the opportunity to be homeowners!”
